One of our most Iconic builds to date; Coffi Co opened its doors in March 2015. Using shipping containers, Coffi Co wanted to incorporate the shipping heritage of Cardiff Bay into a striking contemporary coffee shop.

Due to the nature of shipping containers they create a versatile building material which means that projects can be implemented in stages, making them scalable over the medium or long term. In addition, they can be configured into multiple combinations and designs for a wide range of applications. Coffi Co’s original structure was based on a 20 ft standard container joined to a 40 ft High Cube to create unique open plan space.

The success of the initial container led to an additional commission to convert another 20 ft container in the summer of 2015. The cafe was extended to improve customer experience and maximise the interior fit out.

The business has experienced exceptional success since opening and are looking to launch new branches in Porthcawl and Cardiff in the coming months. In addition, 2016 has seen talks of a further 20ft expansion.
