Container Café Conversion
Client: M&G Investments

The second shipping container café conversion of its kind ISO Spaces have designed and manufactured for M&G Investments, after landing the first at Stockley Park. London Square has now opened for business at a business park in Guildford.

Concept &
Planning
London Square Café was manufactured using a 20ft high cube shipping container as the foundation. The container café was designed to house both a functional kitchen area and an internal seating area for customers. A personnel door and a serving hatch, operated by stainless steel gas struts, enables the café to have full service potential. Our in-house team of interior designers worked together with the client and their brief to ensure that the shipping container café looks in keeping with its business park location. Intricate cedar cladding was crafted and fitted to the external sides fo the container, whilst the interior featured industrial pendant lighting and natural wood finishes.

Manufacture
& Installation
Fully fitted with catering equipment, London Square offers handmade sandwiches, locally sourced coffee and other lunchtime selections. Situated within landscaped grounds, the shipping container cafe now provides the business park with an outside venue for its staff at lunch times. A stainless steel ramp was installed to make the seating area accessible to all.
