This shipping container classroom conversion project for Havwoods, a flooring specialist company, was designed as an education space academy for a series of courses that the company runs.

This turnkey solution comprised of two 40ft shipping containers. Although compact, the floor area covers a total floor area of 56 m2 and offers a quick solution to providing space. The structure is split into two sections: the workshop (38 m2) and classroom (17.5 m2). Havwoods Academy worked closely with our design team to optimise their available internal space.

This design includes features such as crittal style doors and Velux flat roof windows with integrated remote controlled blinds. The use of exterior cladding on the container ensures it’s in keeping with the current Havwoods brand.

The nature of shipping containers allows the units to be easily transportable and forever portable. The shipping container classroom we designed and manufactured for Havwoods could be easily relocated if the location of their training academy was to move for any reason.
