Container Bars

Client: Mitchells & Butlers

We were commissioned by Mitchells & Butlers to design, manufacture and install three 10ft container bars for one of their flagship brands, Harvester. Looking to mobilise the brand and increase revenue by utilising outdoor spaces, the three container bars were located at three football stadiums throughout the winter: Liberty Stadium in Swansea, Pride Park in Derby and Britannia Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent.

CONCEPTS
& PLANNING

After a successful winter for Harvester debuting the container bars at the three stadiums, ISO Spaces have now been instructed to re-deploy the permanently-portable bars to three seaside locations for the summer season. Providing a solid return on investment, Harvester also plans to add to the number of shipping container bars, further utilising outdoor spaces throughout the UK and increasing revenue.

BUILD &
INSTALLATION

The container bars were made from 10ft high cube containers, each with an opening service hatch with gas strut supports. Offering a secure, ‘lock up and leave’ solution, the container bars were designed to sit seamlessly in their environment, whilst also being approachable and stylish. The front of the containers are clad in reclaimed wooden boards and industrial pendant lighting was selected to add an eye-catching pop of colour. The Harvester branding was applied in vinyls to each of the container bars.
